Inventorying the Archive of Maarten Van Severen

In October 2008 the archives of Van Severen  were transferred to De Zwarte Doos (City Archive Ghent). The archival collection is managed by ‘The Maarten Van Severen Foundation'. The CVAa was consulted for offering expert back up for the inventory and opening of the archive for study.

Building a Fedora repository for architectural content

The Centre for Flemish Architectural Archives (CVAa) and the Flemish Architecture Institute (VAi)  have started the development of a digital repository to manage, host and preserve digital architectural objects that have been gathered and published in the Flemish Architecture Yearbooks.

Architectural archives of the deSingel Arts Centre

Since 1985, the deSingel Arts Centre in Antwerp has been organising exhibitions dedicated to Belgian and international architects. As a result, it has become one of the most important actors on the Flemish architectural cultural scene. deSingel’s architectural programming has, amongst other things, resulted in an extensive collection of archive material: models, plans, photographs and video recordings…The CVAa is setting up a partnership with deSingel in order to preserve this special architectural archive and make it accessible to all.
