Architecture from Flanders and Brussels on showcase in North Rhine-Westphalia

On the occasion of the Flemish week in North Rhine-Westphalia (17-24 March 2019) the Flanders Architecture Institute, together with the Ministry for Regional Identity of the Land of North Rhine-Westphalia, organizes a study day and an exhibition to foster the exchange of experience and expertise between architects and policy makers in architectural culture from both regions.​ The study day and the exhibition will take place in the Siza Pavilion in Raketenstation Hombroich (Germany).


Wanted: projects for next edition Flanders Architectural Review

In 2020 the Flanders Architecture Institute will be publishing the latest edition of the biennial Flanders Architectural Review. This 2020 edition will be the fourteenth in the series. We turn the spotlight on architectural production in Flanders and Brussels, and also projects elsewhere in the world by architects from Flanders and Brussels.

51N4E and de vylder vinck taillieu among five finalists MiesAward19

The European Commission and the Fundació Mies van der Rohe have announced the five finalists that will compete for the 2019 European Union Prize for Contemporary Architecture – Mies van der Rohe Award. Among them are two Belgian offices. The Award Ceremony will take place on 7 May at the Mies van der Rohe Pavilion in Barcelona.
