BULK architecten was commissioned to design a small apartment building on a long but narrow corner plot. The stacked apartments consist of a simple enfilade of spaces along the façade. This enfilade has been expressed in the façade, which is constructed out of sand-coloured brickwork. The interior rooms are visible in planes of slightly recessed brickwork that anchor the respective windows. The shop on the ground floor is marked by the plinth in brighter vanilla bricks. The volume of this explicitly urban building was raised at the corner. By leaving out a window at the top of the shorter elevation, the building gains a strong presence on the square.
