Office Kersten Geers David Van Severen (together with Bureau Goddeeris Architects) use the natural landscape as an intermediate space between the public space and the building in the case of the Villa Voka office building on the outskirts of Kortrijk. The built volume is organised around a patio. The building and the patio together form a compact, private entity. By uncoupling the building from the car park, it stands as an independent object in the landscape.
