After two successful editions, A+ Architecture, the Flanders Architecture Institute and Liège University Faculty of Architecture again presented the ACROSS lecture series. Four new French-language architecture practices took to the floor in Antwerp to highlight the challenges facing contemporary architecture, while four Dutch-language practices reveiled their projects and visions in Liège. New this year is that each lecture was introduced by an architect with an already established reputation in the neighboring language region.
At the end of the third series of lectures the eight established architects and eight new architecture practices from Flanders, Wallonia and Brussels will exhibit an object, graphical documents and photos in an exhibition at the Centre for Fine Arts. Shoulder to shoulder.
The architect practices are :
GRUE, Atelier Vens Vanbelle, Laura Muyldermans, Costa de Araujo/SNCDA), Bernard Dubois, MADAMarchitectuur, LRArchitectes, Raamwerk
On the opening evening (29 November, 7pm), a "pecha kucha" will be organised. The eight offices will present their respective projects in 8 minutes.
