The international office 51N4E, based in Brussels, deals with questions on architectural conceptualisation, the development of concepts and transformations on spatial strategies.
The office is managed by architects Johan Anrys and Freek Persyn and houses 22 employees. 51N4E was founded in 1998 and has made a name for itself with projects like Lamot (2005), TID Tower Tirana (2004-), C-Mine (2010), Skanderberg (2008) and the BUDA-factory (2012). The office received several international prices for their architectural projects and was recently asked to develop strategic visions for urban regions such as Bordeaux (50.000 units), Brussels (Brussels Metropol 2040) and Istanbul (Making City).
Freek Persyn and Sotiria Kornaropoulou will talk about 51N4E and what inspires them to contribute in social and urban transformations.
