The urban design by awg architects 'restores' the (inner) urban structure and the edges of the building block of Nutsterrein Maastricht in The Netherlands.
With alleys and small squares, connections are made between the historic center, the former Sphinx sites and the Frontenpark. The first phase of Nutsterreinen Maastricht in The Netherlands by awg architects was already completed in 2016. Recently, the last buildings and - thus the entire plan - have been completed. The development plan of the open or public space was designed by MTD Landscape Architects.
The Dutch magazine De Blauwe kamer focuses on current projects and developments in the field of urban design, landscape architecture, spatial planning and architecture.
