The 4th Regional Plan was ordered by the Regional Plan Association (RPA) New York. ORG's key role consisted of the development of transit-oriented development hubs as well as the development of growth patterns along axes with new mobility technologies. Google sidewalk labs have picked up ORG's work. The plan has been adopted and the RPA will advise the cities and towns in the metropolitan area towards its execution.
This client is the regional plan association for the greater New York metropolitan area and includes parts of the state of New York, Connecticut and New Jersey. The RPA has made plans every 25 years, in order to prepare infrastructure decisions, steward durable long-term growth patterns and integration of the metropolitan area. It transcends municipal and state boundaries.
