Yves Dupont (UHasselt) wins the 2018 Euregional Prize for Architecture with his project ‘VAKhuis, A house for craftmanship’.
On 17 November 2018, the 28th edition of the Euregional Prize for Architecture opened to great fanfare at Hasselt University’s Diepenbeek Campus. Exam projects from the five architecture courses at Hasselt, Liège, Maastricht and Aachen are entered for the prize, which is organised annually by SCHUNCK Architecture. Out of the work produced by some 400 graduates enrolled in the 2017-2018 year, a total of 29 projects were ultimately selected for inclusion in the competition.
These projects can be viewed free of charge at Hasselt University’s Deze Diepenbeek Campus, Agoralaan - building E, 3590 Diepenbeek (Belgium) up to and including Friday 14 December. Prizewinners and those who received honourable mentions are clearly labelled for visitors.
