Op 2 april organiseert het departement Architectuur van de KU Leuven een gastlezing door Paola Viganò.
Lezing in het Engels.
The lecture will discuss the idea of space through three lens and considering the hypothesis of the city-territory as a renewable resource. Space function; space nature and social space will be addressed to reflect on the characters of a new biopolitical project.
One main of experience, an urban project in the west of France, will embed the reflection into a concrete situation, exploring its possible futures.
Paola Viganò, PhD in Architecture, is Professor in Urban Theory and Urban Design at the EPFL of Lausanne (where she directs the Laboratory of Urbanism-lab-U and the new Habitat Research Center) and at Università IUAV, Venice.
