Keep it safe and see you in 2022

2021 was a challenging year to reach our audience. In spite of the measurements taken to prevent the spread of COVID-19, many activities could still take place. The architecture biennale in Venice attracted 300.000 architecture lovers, the Future Plans exhibition with work by T.O.P. office received a lot of attention in the media and the Festival of Architecture 2021, based in Ostend, was a truely magical edition. Currently, you can visit no less than four exhibitions in our home base De Singel, Antwerp. In the meantime, we are diligently working on the 2022 programme.

The team of the Flanders Architecture Institute wishes you all the best. We are looking forward to seeing you again in 2022!

In spring 2022, the Flanders Architecture Institute and De Singel will be presenting Table Setting, a brand new exhibition series for young architects from Flanders and Brussels. With the aid of a set of vitrine tables and accompanying props, young designers will take up their positions on the square in front of De Singel. Architect Laura Muyldermans designed the installation and will be kicking off the series.
