vvv will be our guest for an ACROSS lecture on 26 November 2020. The introduction will be given by architect Yves Malysse from URA.
vvv is a Brussels-based firm founded by Nicolas Willemet and Guillaume Vanneste. Alongside architecture and urban design, it also focuses on projects in the public space. Together with Studio Paola Viganò, the firm recently won the competition to redevelop the Marie Jansonplein in Sint-Gillis, which is set become a green lung in this densely-populated area of the city. Willemet and Vanneste both teach as well as being involved in academic research.
Belgian journal A+ Architecture, in collaboration with the Flanders Architecture Institute and the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Liège, once again organise the lecture series ACROSS. Four young French-speaking offices will take to the floor in Antwerp, while four Dutch-speaking practices will speak in Liège. Each participant will be introduced by a senior architect from the other language region.
