The Brussels house Ciamberlani has become a member of the Iconic Houses Network. This network focuses on special houses, house museums and architect's houses of the 20th century. Members of the network are supposed to open their house to the public.
The Hôtel Ciamberlani, a design by art nouveau architect Paul Hankar and painter Albert Ciamberlani, can be visited at regular intervals. The next visits will take place on 6 September, 4 October, 1 November en 6 December 2014. To enroll for these visits, please check the website Voir et Dire Bruxelles.
Other Belgian members of the Iconic Houses Network are the Renaat Braem Huis in Antwerp and the Victor Horta Museum in Brussels. In the near future, Iconic Houses also hopes to include a house by Juliaan Lampens.
Special 20th century museum houses of the mediterranean area will be the focus of the third Iconic Houses Conference, held in Barcelona from 22 to 25 November 2014. Check the program of the conference and the preliminary visits. There is a discount if you register before 10 September 2014.
