Visit & Contact

The Flanders Architecture Institute is housed at two locations in the city of Antwerp. The public program (exhibitions, lectures, debates ...) takes place in De Singel, where you can also find our offices and Kabinet Christiaan Kieckens. The collection and library are located in the city center.

Our exhibitions are open from Wednesday to Sunday and during evening performances. Our offices, reading room and library can only be visited by appointment. For updates please check our website, newsletter or social media.

The Flanders Architecture Institute in De Singel and the collection in the center are easily accessible by public transport. You can also get there by car, although the center of Antwerp is not always accessible due to road works and busy traffic.

The Flanders Architecture Institute (VAi) is located in the buildings of the De Singel International Art Centre. Follow the signs to Beel Laag from the main entrance on Desguinlei (± 3 min. on foot).
