What are the limitations and potentials of the existing policy and regulations on housing in Flanders? What can be the role of architecture in introducing more quality living arrangements? Revolving around these questions the Flanders Architecture Institute is organising a debate on the housing policy in Flanders, as part of the exhibition Urban Villa by Dogma.
At the exhibition Urban Villa, Dogma introduced this housing type as the best form for social organisation amongst residents. The size and urban contextualisation of the dwelling units propose collective uses. Yet, the projects presented in the exhibition also triggered some questions about the existing policies in Flanders and the position of architects and other actors in this framework.
