The architects Broekx-Schiepers were able to carry the client along in a story that unfolds in extremely clear stages and leads to an unexpected, exceptional and above all contemporary solution for compact living. The restrictions of the budget have not stood in the way of a high standard of finish. An original, well-considered solution need not necessarily cost more than a conventional or ready-made solution, and that is the story of this whole house.
