The whole conversion of this house consists of independent individual interventions: any formal cohesion is deliberately avoided. In the middle of the hall an unarticulated, or even hidden, door leads into the kitchen, whose conversion makes the greatest change to the typology of the terraced house. In this way the house is a lively collection of inventive detail designs to which endless numbers of new changes can be added and removed again.
