AIR, LIGHT AND LIFE in a narrow street. The small-scale project in the student area on the edge of the medieval heart of the city provides for an information centre, a work and meeting place, and about thirty student rooms. The design retains the façade of the seventeenth-century terrace house and adds a number of new volumes. The meticulous composition yields a building with a square, thereby stimulating social interaction in the somewhat banal street.
