This spring, the Flanders Architecture Institute will publish the fourteenth edition of the Flanders Architectural Review.
This edition looks at how Flemish and Brussels designers work on the basis of an intensive dialogue in which they adopt a position. We explore the social framework that has developed alongside the architectural culture over recent decades, and which continues to serve as a breeding ground for a rich and diverse professional field. Each of the designers in this book has their own take on their role as an architect, the people with whom they work, and the places where they build.
At the end of May the book will be presented to an international architecture audience in the Belgian pavilion at the opening of the Biennale Architettura 2020 in Venice. In June, we will be presenting the Architectural Review in Flanders, in one of the selected projects.
