The project involves transforming the slopes that bridge the height difference between two neighbourhoods into a promenade area. It is a 5 km “parcours” along a natural slope that is now occupied by a dense mass of vegetation and that, after the execution of the design, will be able to be enjoyed by the the people.
The jury highlighted that the team Omgeving + Cerouno architects proposal balanced the landscape, environmental and construction aspects of the commission. The solution provided was optimal, capable of uniting in a single project the rehabilitation and restoration of degraded environmental slopes with the execution of a green infrastructure that is the backbone of the city.
