Bauwelt, the oldest architecture magazine in Europe focuses on De Boekentoren en De Brug, both projects of the University of Ghent.
In the 113 edition of Bauwelt, architecture critic Marc Dubois sheds light on the renovation of the university library in Ghent with the famous book tower by Henry Van de Velde, renovated by Robbrecht en Daem Architecten.
Dubois also describes the expansion of the Ghent university restaurant De Brug with a focus on the conversion of the 19th-century house into office space. It is a project of DBLV architects / Dierendonck-Blancke-Lust-Van De Ginste.
