Pennings Foundation in Eindhoven exhibits Pixel Brick Fiction: Filip Dujardin’s Montages

The exhibition 'Pixel Brick Fiction: Filip Dujardin’s Montages' investigates the tension between (architectural) reality and fiction, and between volume and surface, through a reinterpretation of Filip Dujardin’s (b. 1971) work.

At the Pennings Foundation, the Curatorial Research Collective of TU/e Faculty of Architecture is showing an installation inspired by the buildings in Filip Dujardin’s photographs. But despite their realistic appearance, these structures are a figment of the artist’s imagination. The architecture students on the master’s course at TU/e are attempting to build different elements of his inventions.
