De Harmonie by Atelier Kempe Thill and RE-STPaddenbroek Education - Jo Taillieu Architecten
The countryside education centre Paddenbroek focuses on the relationship between nature, agriculture, tourism and regional identity in an all-around education centre. The old farmhouse underwent a metamorphosis whereby the farmhouse was dismantled and a volume of glass and steel was constructed all-around to maximalise the flexibility and shared use of space.
Project Paddenhoek by Jo Taillieu ArchitectenAtelier Mark Manders - Coussée Goris Huyghe
The artist Mark Manders (°1968) lives and works in Ronse, in an old fabric. He needed the space to realize the many and ever-growing sculptures. It was only possible to build a new workshop (100 x 34 meters) on an industrial site with a law budget. Coussée Goris Huyghe gave Manders the opportunity to work simultaneously in different atmospheres on a world of imagination and fusion.
