Last month groundbreaking ceremonies have been held for both the residential Talent Tower by HUB near the railway tracks in Tilburg and the RTS Radio Télévision building in Lausanne by OFFICE Kersten Geers David Van Severen.
HUB’s design is for a 22-floor tower and a 6-floor high plinth that negotiates the jump in scale between the high-density context of the central station area and the lower-density residential area along the Spoorpark in Tilburg.
Talent Tower by HUB architectsPositioned in the heart of the double campus belonging to EPF and UNI Lausanne, the new RTS building consists of four separate volumes supporting a disc-like slab suspended 7m above ground.
