The London based writer Owen Hatherley is one of the most renewing voices in today's debates on architecture, politics and culture. In Militant Modernism; A Guide to the New Ruins of Great Britain (2010), Hatherley recounts the construced utopies of post-war Britan, while sharply critisizing the contemporary architecture in times of globalization and economical recession.
