ACROSS 2019

ACROSS gives the floor to four young French-speaking offices in Antwerp, while four Dutch-speaking practices will speak in Liège. Each participant will be introduced by a senior architect from the other language region.

Programming Dutch-speaking architects in Liège (Galerie Opéra) and French-speaking architects in Antwerp (deSingel) stimulates dialogue between the two cultures. ACROSS departs from the observation that there is a lack of exchange and dialogue between the French-speaking and Dutch-speaking architectural cultures in Belgium. The programme strives to fill this gap and provide a platform for young architectural firms to reflect on their practice and the context in which they work.
