The Brussels office Metapolis has won the competition for the design of a park around the citadel of the city of Cluj in Romania.
With this project Metapolis works upon the historical logic of Cluj's landscape formation with a series of additions and substractions, both natural and artificial. The thus unveiled and fortified landscape becomes one integrated ecosystem and restores the true nature of the Cetătuia hill.
