B-architecten’s Mundo-a in Antwerp has been nominated in the Architecture category, while De Smet Vermeulen and Tractebel Engineering have been nominated alongside De Nijl Architecten and urban sociologist Reijndorp for the Nieuw Gent development plan in the Urban Planning category. Callebaut Architecten and Bureau Bouwtechniek have been nominated alongside Korteknie Stuhlmacher Architecten for Het Predikheren in Mechelen in the Interiors category.

The architecture competition ARC Awards is an initiative of the Dutch architecture review De Architect.

Project Mundo-a is a bio-ecological and passive office building for social-profit organisations on a complex, urban site.

Nieuw Gent is a social housing-enclave behind the Zwijnaardsesteenweg. Five of the seven high-rises will be replaced by open blocks. The park will be extended, there will be occasional infilling, and facilities will emphasize the public space.

The restoration and repurposing of the dilapidated baroque Dominican monastery (the Predikherenklooster) into a new city library (Het Predikheren) have resulted in study spaces, an attic full of books, a monastery garden and many rooms.
