The project brings together contributions and interviews that beautifully re-imagine mapping, space, power, and coloniality across Africa and the diaspora. All contributions reflect on space, justice, gender and race and how they are related. The Flanders Architecture Institute was happy to contribute to this project that brings to the floor a new agenda for spatial justice.
The website is a result of a story-telling workshop. These contributions are now on a website so that they are accessible and open-access, and so that different mediums of knowledge production can be included. The different pieces on the website speak to one another. To this end, five different indexes/ways of mapping were created that both draw connections between pieces and allow the user to explore the website in different ways.
