The Tintagel Castle Footbridge by Ney and Partners has won both the Museum + Heritage Awards and the Structural Steel Design Award in the UK, while Laurent Ney has also been awarded a medal from the Académie d’Architecture française in the category Research and Technology.
The Structural Steel Design Awards recognise the high standard of structural and architectural design attainable in the use of steel and its potential in terms of efficiency, cost-effectiveness, sustainability, aesthetics and innovation.
The Tintagel Castle Footbridge won the Museum + Heritage Award in the category Permanent Exhibition of the Year.
The Académie d’Architecture française awards medals to members who distinguish themselves in the worlds of architecture, craftsmanship and construction.
