Ney & Partners win at Footbridge Awards in Switzerland

The international jury of the Footbridge awards chose the Salangaan bridge in Vilvoorde by Ney & Partners as winner in the category of moveable bridges. The Annie Vande Wiele bridge in Ghent was ‘highly commended’ in the category long span footbridges. The shallow arch proportions, the choice of the colours, and the well-integrated light were mentioned in the jury report.

Jury on the Salangaan Bridge: Synthesis of crisp, angular geometry and simple but expressive detailing. Overcomes the design constraints imposed by the site and the required hight clearance efficiently.

The winners of the 2025 Footbridge Awards were revealed during the triennial international footbridge conference in Chur in Switzerland.
