Anyone wishing to contribute can join one of the Wikipedia writing sessions organised by the Flanders Architecture Institute in cooperation with the project partners. The writing sessions take the form of edit-a-thons, a well-known format where communities come together to write and publish about a particular topic. The aim is to train new editors and improve the quality of the articles on the topic.
Below you will find more information about each writing session and a link to sign up.
In December 2020, we organised digital writing sessions with our partners at KU Leuven, UGent, KASK and UAntwerpen. Due to the second wave of the coronapandemic, the writing sessions with the students of architecture, art history, graphic design and gender studies at these institutions could not take place live. However, thanks to the expertise of Wikimedia Belgium and the good preparations of the students and lecturers, we were able to run them in virtual format.
