Cycle and conquer the city! The expo shows how the bicycle can reclaim the city with inspiring cycling infrastructure from all over the world. Design quality is not often the key to the success of those projects.

Six example cities worldwide, including Copenhagen and New York, illustrate how a bicycle-friendly urban planning result in more sustainable and social cities. You can see 22 architectural projects that make bicycle mobility clear in urban design.

And how is Flanders doing? In the context of this exhibition, the results of a competition on Flemish cycling infrastructure, organized by Stad en Architectuur and Fietsberaad Vlaanderen, are presented. The competition aims to point out the importance of careful design and high design quality and to promote the debate about a good approach to sustainable mobility.

The exhibition will be opened on 9 September at 8 pm with a short lecture by Stefanie Lampe, curator of the DAM from Frankfurt am Main.
