Symposium 'Editing The Context' in Wuppertal

Symposium 'Editing The Context' in Wuppertal

The symposium Editing The Context brings together architects and historians, who approach the context from a variety of points of view: from a typological, formal or aesthetic perspective or through a deep examination of the atmosphere of a site. All these approaches have in common that they seek to relate to what is already there, and to construct a place, and to create architectural spaces and images, which render visible what is often unnoticed and produce new unforeseen meanings.

Program:

  • 9u30: introduction by Susanne Gross and Christoph Grafe
  • 10u00: Dr. Fritz Barth (Stuttgart)
  • 11u00: Paul Vermeulen (Gent)
  • 11u45: Break
  • 12u00: Ard de Vries (Amsterdam)
  • 12u45: Marie-José van Hee (Gent)
