For the 5th memorial year of the tsunami in Japan the exhibition 'Invisible Needs of Life' will be presented by SHSH Architecture + Scenography at the Hasselt Japanese Garden and the Japanese Embassy in Brussels.

SHSH, with an office in Brussels, has examined how they could contribute to the reconstruction of housing and living conditions after the natural disaster. As a result, SHSH proposes 'Invisible Needs'. A positive contribution to local life encouraging cultural activities and giving a broader picture in a period of uncertainty. The exhibition shows the search for concrete actions to provide assistance to residents of disaster areas. A four stage sustainable solution nourishes the growth within the community and meets their social, physical, cultural and spiritual needs.

In 2013 the Flanders Architecture Institute invited SHSH to create the exhibition Invisible needs of life. Yuriage town renaissance in the series Jonge makers, denkers, dromers.
