Architectuurplatform Terwecoren-Verdickt will redesign the quay Papetoai in Moorea in French Polynesia.
For this project Terwecoren-Verdickt will work together with BS archi. The aim is to meet the needs of its many users. The quay is the place where tourists set foot to explore the island, where 'les mamas' offer their fine handicrafts for sale, where buses, taxis, electric bicycles, walks and lagoon excursions by boat depart. It is also a base for the fishermen, the port authority, the maritime police and the tourist office. And a public reference place charged with activities for locals and youth.
