Flanders Architectural Yearbook 2000-2001

This Flanders Architectural Yearbook, 2000-2001, the fifth published by the Ministery of the Flemish Community, presents a survey of recent developments in architecture and urban development in Flanders and Brussels. The collection of ten articles includes both thematic approaches and discussion of selected architectural projects and the links between them. The following question of densification, collective housing, critical contextual architecture, a conversation with urban designers, the creation of collective spaces and the detached hous/villa in Flanders.

In addition, the book also contains a list of publications, exhibitions, competitions and awards from the period covered. All this should make it a valuable source of information and a basis for architectural discussion in Flanders.
