How is nature taking its place in the city today? On 14 November, we will open the BWMSTR Label 028 Urban Nature exhibition at DE SINGEL. During a panel discussion, the architects of 1010, Grue and Fallow will explain their research and the exhibition. Researchers Bruno Notteboom and Jolein Bergers will give a lecture on socio-ecological approaches to urbanism.

on socio-ecological approaches to urbanism
"More than 99% of life on earth is practically invisible and often does not even have a name. We think it is time to stop giving humans the lead role in our design culture and take more account of the 99% of other life that surrounds us."‐ 1010, Grue and Fallow
exhibition
In the exhibition Urban Nature, design firms 1010, Fallow and Grue focus on the past, present and future of nature in architectural production. They show how Léon Stynen and Paul De Meyer, the architects of De Singel, looked at the building in relation to the landscape. How does nature today take its place in and around the building? What relationships between artificial and natural life can we expect in the future?
