As one climbs the stairs to the office, one enters a refined world of views and lights.
The reception room is the place of honour in a solicitor’s office. As it is on the first floor there is an unobstructed view of the street, but passers-by are not able to look in. The tall windows frame a splendid row of pollarded plane trees and let in plenty of northern light.
Above the solicitor’s office, on the attic floor, is a fully-fledged flat. It is not intended for the solicitor’s use and is let separately.
