A NEW STREET AS A MEETING POINT. The most important challenge for the design of this large-scale complex of buildings was the scale difference with the surrounding houses. The elongated volumes with end gables give out onto the street side, whereby the complex nestles almost imperceptibly in the small urban core. The feeling of compactness is heightened by the organisation of the buildings around an internal street. The individual spaces give out onto the street, which thereby becomes a meeting place.
