Engineering students from the University of Ghent (BE) are constructing a pavilion in Finland out of reinforced ice.
There is a lot of interest for spatial projects in Belgium in the ‘Yearbook Landscape architecture and Urban design in the Netherlands’.

Julien De Smedt Architects wins the ArchDaily Building of the Year award 2015 with the  project 'The Iceberg' in the categorie Housing.

Among the winners of the Architizer A+ Awards are the Belgian architectural offices Studio Farris Architects, a2o architects and Lens°Ass Architects.
Vincent Van Duysen won the first prize of de Architect​'s ARC15 Architecture Awards for the TR Residence. The jury praised its architectural concept referencing the traditional farm barn, common in Netherlands and Flanders.
In November 2015 Graux & Baeyens Architects were awarded with the European Copper in Architecture Awards. The winner was BBP Arkitekter from Copenhagen, but next to the winner were 4 commendations.
The Design Derby Belgium-Netherlands is an exhibition that explores the evolution and the similarities, the differences  and the mutual interaction of design and styling between both countries since 1815 until today.
