'Double or Nothing', de monografische tentoonstelling over het werk van 51N4E, is deze zomer te bezichtigen in het architectuurmuseum MAO in Ljubljana.
"The Double or Nothing exhibition expresses a fundamental position adopted by 51N4E: to make every project a vector of urban and social transformation. But the title of the exhibition is also a way of emphasising that, while every project is a commitment between a client and an architect, this mutual commitment must take on a particular dimension if the aim is to influence behaviour and enrich urban reality. This presupposes the acceptance of the notion of going beyond, or even changing, the initial programme so that the response is also an enriching factor in collective life. Double or Nothing is a way of presenting this shared ambition. And of emphasising the architects’ capacity for getting many of their clients to think in new ways and explore innovative solutions, and so help give architecture its true dimension: that of an eminently social art. The curator of the exhibition is Dominique Boudet."
In het najaar reist de tentoonstelling naar Chicago.
De tentoonstelling liep in de zomer van 2011 reeds in Bozar.
