In the Belgian pavilion in Venice, the Flanders Architecture Institute will be launching BRAVOURE, contributions from Flanders, a series of major publications about architecture from Flanders and Brussels.

Alongside the BRAVOURE exhibition catalogue, the Flanders Architecture Institute will be shining the spotlight on a whole host of other relevant books. The crowning glory will be the release of the Flanders Architectural Review N°12. Tailored Architecture, a renowned sourcebook that details recent, high-quality architecture in Flanders. In addition, the publication Autonomous Architecture in Flanders offers a unique insight into the oeuvre of the architects Marie-José Van Hee, Paul Robbrecht, Hilde Daem, Christian Kieckens and Marc Dubois, a generation of architects who helped to bring about the international breakthrough of home-grown architecture.

A whole host of Flemish architectural practices will also be presenting their own publications to the world. For example, there will be survey publications on display by De Smet Vermeulen Architects, 51N4E and architects de vylder vinck taillieu.
