On May 2, VUB Architectural Engineering is organising an event to discuss the reuse of building materials, from ancient times to the present. Researchers from VUB Architectural Engineering will present their latest findings and some of the most renowned international scholars will share their vision on the topic.
Lecture and round table
Researchers Philippe Bernardi and Maxime L'Héritier will give a lecture on qualifying and quantifying re-use in construction in Ancient timesand.
Afterwards they participate in a round table together with Jane Hutton, Stephanie Van de Voorde and Lionel Devlieger on the ecosystem of reuse.
