Job Description
The post holder will be instrumental in developing with colleagues and the Director of the School, the future vision of the Architecture School, and with it, the role of architecture as an art, a science and profession.
The post holder will contribute to the enhancement of the School's role as an international leader in the field of architectural history, theory and criticism. This will include: sustained research activity and peer-reviewed research publication; success in raising research grants and other income to support departmental research and other activities; high-quality and innovative undergraduate and graduate teaching, and supervision of research students within the post-holder's field of expertise; collaboration and co-operation with colleagues in the above activities; active dissemination of research knowledge for maximum social impact; contribution to public engagement. The successful candidate will also contribute, as necessary, to the management or administration of the School, The Bartlett Faculty of the Built Environment and UCL.
