Due to the fact that the original chapel of Onze-Lieve-Vrouwecollege in Assebroek (Bruges) was no longer in use, a suitable purpose was sought to help pupils and teachers find their way back to this space. The sacred space was transformed into a contemporary setting for reflection, silence, dialogue - a space to slow down and recharge your batteries. The Blauwe Zone (Blue Zone) was painted from floor to ceiling in blue chalk paint, turning the entire space into one large writing surface.
This project was opened on the occasion of the 2017 Day of Architecture.
