Torens Kattendijkdok-Westkaai

The twin towers that Diener & Diener realised a couple of hundred metres to the north of the MAS have been planned as the first of a series of six slim residential towers that will extend down the primary axis and form a frontage to the kilometre long Kattendijkdok.

The towers differ in colour. On one tower, the reflective aluminium sheeting that extends behind the outer leaf of rippled glass is gold. On the other tower, it is silver. The distribution of the windows is a further point of variation. Their seemingly free composition does, in fact, register the use of eleven different apartment types. The lower floors accommodate as many as four apartments, while the upper floors are given over to a single apartments of greater height.
